Job Title :                     Sr Member/ Member –Technical
Location:                      Hyderabad, India
Reports to :                  Manager – Quality Assurance
Salary Range:              Competitive with the market

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:  Requires B.Tech or M.Tech degree or MCA from premier institutions.
Experience : 2-6 years experience in software testing.
Mission : To ensure that all software developed is tested thoroughly and all bugs are fixed before it is deployed in Production.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Interact regularly with the Managers, Project Leaders and Heads of teams in different departments to understand the software being developed.
2. Ensure that the features developed are in line with the requirements.
3. Ensure that test plans are developed and reviewed to test software as soon as projects are planned and requirements are being developed.
4. Ensure that all software is thoroughly tested before it is deployed in Production.
5. Document the bugs detected and prepare periodic reports for submission to the relevant executives.
6. In the case of a Project Leader, ensure that self and team are equipped with the latest skills on testing software. Supervise and mentor assigned members of the team.

Skills & Qualifications :

1. Expertise in software testing tools and QA automation – Silk Test, or Rational Robot or Visual Test
2. Develop scripts in Perl, Shell as required
3. QA environment includes Unix (Solaris, Linux) and Windows client GUI testing
4. Performance, Load and Stress testing of Unix applications for capacity planning
5. Familiarity with Web technologies – HTML, Java, Javascript – a plus
6. Web testing, GUI testing, backend testing of Web applications
7. Some relevant experience in coding/development
8. Proven skills in documentation. Attention to detail.
