JOB DESCRIPTION: CRM Application Solution / Product Management


The mission of the CRM Solution Management team is to make SAP the leading business solution provider in the CRM sector for companies of all sizes by maximizing value creation for our customers, our partners and
our company. The SAP CRM solution offers a complete set of functions and channels that is needed by customers to acquire and retain customers, improving customer loyalty, gaining customer insight, and implementing customer-focused strategies.
As a member of the ASM CRM team you will work as an interface between CRM customers, Partners, Analysts, the SAP field organization (consulting, sales, pre-sales) and our internal stakeholders such as development, quality management and knowledge management.
You will be driving the product definition and the roll-out to the market of a specific SAP CRM component. The same will be in accordance with the business plans of SAP under the leadership of our global CRM organization. You will thereby work together with global SAP CRM teams, regional and local sales & consulting forces, partners and customers.
They will help you to collect market requirements to design the solution and the solution roadmap that will meet the needs of our customers. You will work in one of the following components: CRM Sales, CRM Mobile (Laptop Solution), CRM on Demand (Hosted Solution).

Knowledge of the indian market desired, Product management experience desired, but not a must.Good  understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.Experience in working with enterprise applications software.
Knowledge about SAP CRM or any other CRM solution desired – also as an user. Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.Strong team skills, especially working in cross-functional teams.
Strong relationship-building and alignment skills.Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal (in English).
Detail oriented – but with an ability to move to the 30,000 ft level when required. Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex ideas. Self-starter, highly motivated with high energy level, willing to deliver excellent results.

BE,BTech,ME, MTech or MBA preferred.


Define and specifiy core and non-core features and functionality, including UI design. Prepare and drive the future roadmap – in short, medium and long term aligned with SAP strategy. Work closely with development teams and conduct expert testing of the newly developed software. Drive the product roll-out and documentation, oversee knowledge transfer to the consultants and SAP education ecosystem. Participate in marketing workshop and events, interact with customers and Industry experts.
Provide support on CRM specific questions around e.g. reference sites, solution availability and capabilities, presentation materials, customer and win stories.Analyze market trend and build competitive knowledge.Define and evaluate partner solutions for make&buy decisions. Enable the Field & Partners community for SAP CRM.

The role requires the ability to work with disparate and multi cultural teams in changing environments; the readiness to work at flexible times to accommodate for a distributed team is a prerequisite for this role.
You have 3+ years business experience and worked within a similar position in a large IT or consulting company or
as a professional in the CRM area. Alternativly, you are holding a MBA from a premier institute.
