Responsibilities and Details

Description

Job Description: Component Design Engineers are responsible for the design and development of electronic components. Responsibilities may include: the design of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout; modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components, performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams, planning and organizing design projects or phases of design projects. Responds to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Qualifications
You should possess a Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering from a reputed institute with 80% or more GPA. Additional qualifications include:
– Strong background in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI)
– Exposure to industry standard Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools
– Good background in several domains: timing, noise, erc, power, reliability, and others
– Strong self initiative and highly motivated
– Good communication and presentation skills
– Good team player
– Willingness to work in a big team environment
– Knowledge of perl would be an added advantage
