Role: Client Services Manager – Channels Services
Location: Bangalore

 

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of client management that include understanding client business models, operational processes related to channel management, business operations and related decision making, engagement with clients all at all within the organization, ensuring flawless delivery, driving internal automation and process optimization. The Client Service Manager is supported by a client service lead and operations analysts.
  • Lead quarterly client business reviews and monthly client business updates. The client service managers will be expected to spend 10-15 days a quarter at the client locations, primarily in the US (meeting with client regional offices in Europe and Asia-Pacific will also be required but will not be as frequent and will be for shorter durations) leading the reviews, understanding client issues, future expansion plans and meeting with cross functional groups within the client to cement Zyme’s presence and role at the client.
  • Will be responsible for identifying expansion of current services and in identifying additional service opportunities for existing clients. This will be done in conjunction with the Zyme Product Management, Solutions Delivery and Engineering groups. The client service manager will be expected to be resident expert on details related to the client’s operational processes.
  • Develop an indepth understanding of client processes around revenue recognition, forecasting, planning, commissions, pricing, channel incentive programs and other processes that rely heavily on channel sales and inventory data.
  • Must be on top of trends and issues related to clients’ global distribution channels such that the client service manager knows and understands the channel data flow and trends as well as or better than client groups. Clients must come to view their client service manager as a resource for solving channel related problems.
  • Must have the ability to interact with different client groups (sales, sales operations, finance, planning, forecasting etc.) at different levels to ensure that daily Zyme delivery exceeds client expectations and that they continue to rely more heavily on Zyme’s services.
  • Must articulate client requirements to internal product management and engineering teams to ensure that the delivery process is as automated as possible.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to relate client experiences, refine service definitions and join the sales cycle as required
  • Manage client Service Level Agreements (SLA) and own service delivery to ensure that delivery is within the SLA definition. The client service manager will play a critical role in the transition period, when the account is handed over from sales. Discuss out of scope deliverables with clients and facilitate development of proposals for delivering nonstandard services.

 

Required skills

  • Superior communication and analytical capabilities
  • Business savvy – able to connect the dots across business functions and solid understanding of business processes
  • Should be able to switch between detailed operations and strategic client insight in a seamless manner. Willing to dig into details and frame issues for senior management
  • Solid understanding of how tools and technology are deployed at clients and how technology can be applied to optimize and automate internal delivery processes
  • High energy individual who enjoys a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to lead teams, mentor staff and develop a strong pipeline of talent within Zyme
  • International experience a plus

 

Required experience

  • 5+ years experience with large multinationals or outsourcing companies in a front line analytical role

 

Education

  • MBA from premier institute (not required if candidate has substantial high quality experience)
