 We are looking for a dynamic QA Engineer to work on the Sun Streaming System, a highly scalable and complex state of the art system software product. The selected candidate should be able develop and maintain tests and testtools, be able to work with little supervision, be a self starter, quick learner and good team player. The main responsibilities are

* Develop and maintain test tools

* Evaluate and develop load/performance testing framework

* Test development for new features

* Improve test coverage of existing features

* Collaborate with development team and other customer facing teams to understand the test requirements

Required Knowledge and Skills :

* Strong scripting skills in TCL/Expect, Python, Perl or Ruby.

* Good C++ skills

* Working knowledge of Unix

* Excellent testing skills

* Experience with building infrastructure for automated testing

* Must have good communication/ Analytical/ Technical skills
(written & oral)

Preferred Knowledge and Skills :

* Unix system administration skills

* Experience in testing distributed systems

* Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a
rapidly changing environment

Education:

BS in CS/EE or Equivalent

Experience :

4-9 years
