The area: Online Sales and Operations

The Online Sales and Operations (OSO) team in India keeps Google growing and profitable. We are dedicated to supporting the company’s expanding base of advertisers in the English language on a global basis and providing them with the highest levels of service. We are also responsible for supporting customers and generating revenue for AdWords products. This means that employees in AdWords need to be proactive, motivated, organised, responsible and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role: AdWords Associate

As an AdWords Associate, your main responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of advertiser accounts. You will be working directly with your advertisers to drive revenue and customer satisfaction. You’ll also leverage your analytical skills to troubleshoot issues in the complex AdWords backend, and to optimize the effectiveness of your accounts. Your role as a Google world-class Advertising Operations team member will utilize your passion for teamwork, the Internet and for providing outstanding customer service to help improve the performance of AdWords advertisers.


  • Provide excellent customer service to Google’s advertisers and manage client advertising accounts by responding to inquiries.
  • Proactively and creatively identify and solve client problems by building strong relationships with customers and educating them on new product features.
  • Learn and work with Google’s ongoing development of advertiser products to maximize client campaign results and optimize keyword lists and ads in order to maximize advertisers’ return on investment.
  • Leverage all available resources including Optimization, Sales Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and Technical Support and work collaboratively with your team to develop new account management techniques.
  • Identify product and process opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment and serve as a senior resource for the Advertising Operations team.


  • Bachelor’s preferred in any discipline.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in account management or client service, or similar experience required.
  • Proven ability to manage projects across multiple functions is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to quickly complete a large volume of high-quality work and to think analytically.
  • Strong computer applications and Internet skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
