Experienced Ruby on Rails Developer – Srijan, New Delhi

Posted on May 28, 2007. Filed under: New Delhi, Ruby on Rails |

We’re looking for a Rails developer for our office in New Delhi.

Srijan is getting a stream of Ruby on Rails projects, including a current portal which is in the consumer electronics space, and is to be rolled-out in 2-3 phases over a year.

There are other projects we have completed, which are quite high visibility projects such as a Ship Blacklist application for an International NGO.

Apart from RoR, Srijan works in Python/Django, PHP/TYPO3/Seagull extensively. Visit our website at to learn more about us, and the work we do.

Srijan is a fiercely democratic company (little/no bossy attitudes, have a say in design decisions, have a say in company/group decisions and direction), with a great environment to learn in, with some of the most well known names in the open source community in India.

Experience required: Even a 1-2 projects experience is good, provided there is a background of 2-4 years overall in other technologies. However, we’re very choosy about the people we hire, and look at a LOT of enthusiasm and some soft skills apart from coding skills.

Some experience on Python or PHP based frameworks such as Django or Seagull and Symfony, respectively, would be ideal.

Please send in your CVs at jobs (at) srijan (dot) in. Kindly mark the subject as “Ruby on Rails”.
