The responsibility of a Software Architect is to Architect, Design and Deliver world class software solutions that are used by over 30 million users worldwide. The Software Architect will be accountable for anticipating and resolving complex problems that impact design success of at least one (1) or more, current or developing products. In addition he/she will advise and perform highly complex research, design and development of software applications, solutions and services.

1. Write code, complete programming and debug software applications and solutions.
2. Build and assemble prototype assimilations of software applications and solutions as directed.
3. Lead a project or project section as required. In addition, reviews projects against goals and provides status report! s.
4. Identify product needs and potential enhancements, design, develop and implement software applications and solutions in conjunction with the Product Development Manager or designate.
5. Lead in the development and testing of new software applications and solutions.
6. Lead the research and development to define Customer/Partner driven product features for increased product usage and selling.
7. Consider the Customer/Partner lifecycle from purchase point to implementation.
8. Usage for successful replication of results to the Customer/Partner when planning and advising on products and solutions.
9. Advise management (and Customer/Partners from time-to-time) on technical problems and direction.
10. Actively interface with the product marketing, global services team and Customer/Partners to plan new or custom features.
11. Determine the type of process documentation practices needed for installation and maintenance of applications and solu! tions.
12. Deliver software applications and solutions within the set schedule with high degree of quality and that are extensible and scalable.Lead a project or project section as required. In addition, reviews projects against goals and provides status reports.
13. Is established as an expert in at least one area of specialty.
14. Participate in interviewing and hiring practices as directed and advised by manager and/or VP of People Innovation.
15. Mentor less experience software engineers.
16. Able and willing to travel if required.

Skills required
o Must have expert programming ability in several of the following: C/C++, Java or Databases. Strong knowledge in HTML, ASP/JSP, VBScript, JavaScript, COM, XML, UNIX and Win32.
o Must be proficient in development environments, debugging tools and source control systems.
o Must have experience in cross platform development, must have worked in products or technologies that have scalab! le and sustainable architectures.

o Must be proficient in architecting and deploying an infrastructure product.
o Excellent written, verbal, presentation communication skills. Must be able to read and interpret complex information, talk with Customer/Partners and listen attentively.
o Able to cultivate interpersonal Customer/Partner relationships and cohesive team interactions and communications.
o Must be proficient in standard word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.

Details of positon:
Summary: The individual will work closely with client account managers,
business & systems analysts, and technical teams in coordinating schedules,
developing solutions, and delivering project results. Person will be
responsible for the technical design/ and support of all company products
developed from the corporate team, focusing on cross-company product
development/integration. This individual will develop, lead a team of
developers and cr! eate and conform to the corporate development standards.
The project manager will ensure timelines and goals are met for key product
/ project initiatives. Person will also be responsible for maintenance &
support projects for all developed products. Will work in concert with the
corporate Enterprise Architect to ensure new products will integrate into
the corporate strategy of a single customer experience.

Essential Duties & Functions:-%
1. Coordinate offshore and technical resources in order to ensure timely
deliverable of tasks and deliverables for development projects and client
2. Develop and manage project planning, execution, and reporting efforts to
meet deadlines and communicate progress to onshore Project Managemer.-40
3. Ensure the enterprise architecture is integrated into all technical
application solutions. Work with the Corporate Development team to
development standards an! d best practices in the areas of methodology and
toolsets. Project manager will assist in the development of migration plans
for declining technologies. Keep corporate leadership aware of progress and
key opportunities for improvements.-10
4. Evaluate existing applications for potential synergies and integration

Other Responsibilities:

Knowledge and Skills Required (including Computer skills):
1. Advanced knowledge in both.NET and J2EE development platforms with a
focus on a Web Services model
2. Expert on PMM and SDLC practices with a proven track record of project
and product delivery.
3. Expert in VB, ASP, HTML/DHTML, Javascirpt/Vbscript, , SQL Server, ORACLE
, MS Interdev, JAVA
4. Knowledgeable in OLAP / Data Warehousing technologies
5. Expert knowledge in Middleware / integration technologies
6. Experience in outsourced development model.
7. Strong technology skills in most! of the J2EE technology areas like, EJBs,
Servlets, JSPs, JMS, Message Driven Beans, transaction Management
8. Must have in-depth knowledge of Java development IDEs: JBuilder,
NetBeans, Eclipse.

Education and Work Experience:
1. Three-year Degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. 6-9 years experience as Technical Lead, Systems Analyst and/or Project
Manager in software development teams in an enterprise systems environment
3. Proven track record in delivery, project and people management
4. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a rapid development
environment and lead diversely talented and tasked teams to deliver project
results successfully.
5. Previous technical experience in SQL queries, Java, HTML, PHP, XML will
be very valuable

1.  Position:           Senior QA/Automation Engineer (Location – Bangalore, Salary range – 4.5 lacs – 9 lacs)

 Summary:   The Automation Engineer will develop and run tests for Network Appliance products.  The position involves:

 Participating in the development and execution of the testing plans for the NetApp Software products.

  • Working closely with the Engineering Development teams and with the rest of the QA team to execute developed scripts ( automation suite)

 Qualifications (Required):

 BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent with 3- 6 years of work experience

  • 1-3 years of QA and test development experience and automation framework experience.
  • Windows or one UNIX OS (Solaris, AIX, HP, or Linux) 
  • Hands on experience with  scripting languages – Perl, shell scripting
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

 Qualifications (Desired):

 Storage Experience including FibreChannel, iSCSI, and NFS technologies

 *Note: Should have Perl in the projects and should rate themselves as 8+/10.
