Enterprise PeopleSoft Portal Candidate
Job Location: Hyderabad

Candidates should have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in a related field. Must have a minimum of 5 years IT experience and 3 years experience working with PeopleSoft applications and technology.

Specifically –

·Expertise in programming utilizing People Tools, People Code, SQR, Application Engine, Application Designer, Crystal Reports and / or    Cognos
·PeopleSoft Human Resources (HR) experience
·PeopleSoft Financial Applications  (GL, PC, AP, OM) experience
·eApps (ESS, MSS, eRecruit, eDev) experience
·Implementation experience of PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 8.X. Portal Upgrade from 8.4 -> 8.9 experience is a plus
·PeopleSoft Portal Security experience
·PeopleSoft Portal Content Management experience
·Expertise in Unix (AIX)
·Solid Experience with DB2 database, stored procedures, tsql, and experience developing complex SQL queries against the PeopleSoft Portal application tables.
·Must also be energetic, have a positive attitude, be a team player, all with the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
·Project Management experience highly preferred.
·Websphere/Weblogic experience is a plus
·LDAP authentication experience with Active Directory is a plus

Key Responsibilities
·Customize the Portal application; work closely with the Portal Senior Manager and the user community to help determine and plan for technical development.
·Work with user functional and process analysts to identify technical requirements, functional tests, system/user acceptance tests, and implementation.
·Assist with the development of the technical architecture of the PeopleSoft Portal solution.
·Develops new large, complex programs/objects
·Provides generic estimates for tasks to be performed by unnamed team members accurate to within 20%
·Collects and documents requirements for large, complex programs/objects
·Writes specifications for large, complex programs/objects to be used by other team members
·Facilitates Technical/User walkthroughs.
·Maintains and modifies complex programs; makes approved changes by amending flow diagrams, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes adhering to established guidelines and standards.
·Maintains proficiency in the technologies used by the team to support assigned software applications.
·Evaluates moderate to complex interrelationships between programs, e;g; whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
·Maintains a thorough knowledge of technology infrastructure.
·Suggests appropriate deployment of new technologies to achieve maximum effective usage of investment in Information Technology.
·Develops program and system documentation according to established standards.
·Interfaces frequently with business partners concerning their needs without supervision by senior staff.
·Designs and codes screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
·Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.
·Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs.
·Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs.
·Balance multiple priorities, multi-tasking as necessary. Adapt well to changes.
·Reports time worked and status of assigned tasks.
