POSITION : Software Engineer(Physical design)
Location:Ahmedabad
1.Academic Qualification: BE with 1-4 Years of relevant (physical design) experience
2. Technical Details
* Must have skill sets:
1.Familiar with ASIC Backend design flow and tools such as Magma Cadence or Synopsys
* Desired skill sets:
1.Timing Closure, STA,
2.Place & Route, DFT
3.FloorPlanning, Power Route, Clock Tree Synthesis, Global/Detail Route, Cross-Talk avoidance, Antenna Fixing, Extract timing (back-annotation) data
4.LVS/DRC verification, Signal EM, Power EMIR analysis,
5.Hard macro insertion
6.Formal verification,
7.MBIST,
8.Scripting languages (Tcl/Tck, Perl, shell scripts)
9.Multi-VDD flow
10.Mixed signal
* Domain knowledge:
1.ASIC design,
2.Physical / Backend Design
* Industry exposure:
1.90 nm to 180 nm designs using TSMC/SMC/UMC etc. libraries
2.ARM
3.> 2 Million gate count designs
3.Brief Role description for this position:
a.Successful candidate will ramp up fast on physical / backend design flow and tools and leverage his/her experience to get placed in on-site or off-shore backend project.
b.Go to on-site / off-shore for customer project execution
4.Deliverables of this person for the first six months:
a.Integrate with the team
b.Ramp up on Magma tools and complete backend flow on test project
c.Engage in executing project (off-shore or on-site)
5.Desired total experience in years:
a.1-4 years of direct relevant experience
